New 'Free With Xbox' Category Will Help Filter Your Games On Console

I don't know about you, but I've personally downloaded a ton of free Xbox demos and trials over the years, and it's got to the point where I'm sick of seeing them in my full library of games - I'd very rarely want to download them all over again.

Well, Xbox has picked up on this, adding a new feature for Alpha Skip-Ahead Xbox Insiders this week in which a "Free with Xbox" section has been added to the My Games & Apps page, helping to filter out demos and trials specifically.

Here's how it's described, as well as a look at it in action:

Users will see a new section under the Full Library tab in My Games and Apps called "Free with Xbox." Any previously obtained trials and demos will now appear here instead of under "Owned games."

In addition to trials and demos, it seems this feature will filter out old betas as well - the vast majority of which aren't playable in any form anymore - so that should prove really useful when rooting through your full games library too.

A nice quality-of-life addition, then! As mentioned, this "Free with Xbox" category is only available for certain Xbox Insiders right now, but it should extend to all Xbox users in the near future (probably a matter of weeks at the most).
