Last month, we brought news that Xbox console exclusive ExoMecha had finally re-emerged with a Q1 2026 release date - and now fresh gameplay courtesy of YouTube Channel Xbox Nation is catching the eye of many followers as we march on to that early 2026 launch.
As expected, then, we've thrown that fresh footage up above for you to have a good look at here. Honestly, we're getting Crysis/Titanfall/Halo and even Battlefield vibes from this one - it looks like a proper large-scale sci-fi shooter mashup that we can definitely get behind!
If you don't remember the history behind ExoMecha we wouldn't blame you to be honest - it was first revealed way back in 2020 before seeing multiple delays, and then re-emerging earlier this year. That re-entry onto the scene has brought with it a fresh Kickstarter campaign as developer TwistedRed aims to fund and complete its project early next year.
Remarkably, this game is apparently being made by just five people, and something about the gameplay here is giving us vibes of another small-team project in Bright Memory: Infinite. ExoMecha will need a good multiplayer audience to thrive though, and wish the team all the best in securing that.
