Rumour: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Is Joining Xbox Game Pass This Month

Last year's Call of Duty release, Modern Warfare 3, is seemingly coming to Xbox Game Pass later this month. As reported on by Insider Gaming, Microsoft was apparently planning to announce this alongside the fresh changes to Xbox Game Pass, but as is becoming the norm for Microsoft, plans have started to leak before a formal announcement.

For now, the report doesn't include a specific date for MW3's arrival on Xbox Game Pass - or what tiers the game will be on once it lands. Insider Gaming sources "have suggested it will be in the latter half of this month", so we could see Modern Warfare 3 included in Xbox's late July Game Pass roundup.

We're awaiting an official comment from Microsoft on this, but reporter Tom Henderson is typically accurate with this sort of thing, so we expect to see an announcement sooner rather than later. It makes sense that Xbox would want to coincide such an announcement with a Game Pass price hike as well, which we've just started to hear about.

Anyway, it's good to see some of the older CoD titles finally come to Xbox Game Pass, even if we still remain a little confused by all of the subscription's new tiers. If you want to double check all of the new Game Pass pricing info when it comes into effect, check out the link down below.
