For the first time since its initial unveiling back in February, FromSoftware has returned with another look at Elden Ring's epic new expansion; Shadow of the Erdtree. This time around, the Japanese developer has given us a closer look at some of the story details we can expect to explore this summer.
Shadow of the Erdtree is all sounding rather intriguing indeed - in that typical FromSoftware mysterious kind of way. Anyway, here's some information on the upcoming story expansion, straight from the team:
"The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion features an all-new story set in the Land of Shadow imbued with mystery, perilous dungeons, and new enemies, weapons and equipment.
Discover uncharted territories, face formidable adversaries, and revel in the satisfying triumph of victory. Dive into the riveting interplay of characters, where drama and intrigue intertwine, that create an immersive experience to savor and enjoy."
As confirmed earlier this year, Shadow of the Erdtree officially comes to Xbox on June 21st, and we're pretty darn excited for its arrival. It's been well over two years since Elden Ring made its grand arrival in early 2022 - and we liked the base game so much we granted it an esteemed 10/10 here at Pure Xbox.
