Warhammer 40K: Darktide is officially out now on Xbox Game Pass, and you may recall that when we published our release times guide a few days ago, we didn't know if it was going to be exclusive to Xbox Series X|S or not.
That's because although Game Pass titles usually get a cloud version alongside them, Microsoft and developer Fatshark remained very quiet about the console release for Darktide until the last few hours before release.
The good news? There is a cloud version, and that means Xbox One (and mobile) owners can join in the fun!
Obviously you'll need to be an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber in order to take advantage of Warhammer 40K: Darktide on Xbox One (or any other cloud-supported device), and it's also a requirement to have a pretty fast and stable internet connection in order to enjoy it without any major lag issues or loss of image quality.
The most ideal way to play Darktide with Game Pass is either on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or a suitably strong PC, but this is definitely the next best alternative - a great way to avoid missing out on this big Xbox console exclusive!
