Are you ready, kids?! January's Xbox One release of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is officially getting a free upgrade for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on October 16th, 2023.
Details on this upgrade are extremely limited at the moment — we don't know much about the Xbox Series X|S version at all just yet — but we do at least know that it'll come with a new Photo Mode and a couple of new costumes.
Sadly, we didn't have great things to say about The Cosmic Shake when it arrived earlier this year, although admittedly the Metacritic rating fares much better - the game currently holds a 70 for PS5 and 68 for Xbox One.
