WRC 23 From Codemasters Seemingly Delayed Until Late 2023

Back in May, we brought news of a report from well-known leaker billbil-kun that claimed Codemasters' upcoming WRC game was set for a July 2023 release. Well, that date seems to have been pushed back, as EA is yet to properly reveal its new rally racer.

The same source now says that WRC 23 has been delayed until later in the year, with billbil-kun now expecting the title to launch "before November 1, 2023". The report doesn't contain a more accurate release date at the time of writing.

If the previously reported late July release date was once the plan over at EA, then a delay has seemed inevitable for a short while. With fans still waiting on any sort of official reveal for the game, a release date this month seems very unlikely.

Still, this is just a report for now, so any information within is worth taking with a pinch of salt. If you would like to learn a bit more about what's expected from WRC 23 later this year, the full report contains details on the car roster, track list, post-launch plans and more.

Are you looking forward to Codemasters' new WRC title? Remember that it'll eventually come to Game Pass thanks to EA Play!
