Capcom showed up to PlayStation's State of Play event in a big way last night, including announcing a free demo for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake. Well, the team also delivered a brand new Street Fighter 6 trailer, confirming the game's June release date.
Street Fighter 6 hits Xbox Series X and S on June 2nd, 2023. There's no sort of PlayStation timed exclusivity here (or even full exclusivity in the case of Street Fighter 5) - SF6 comes day one to Xbox consoles.
Capcom is skipping Xbox One here though, and much like its plans with RE4 remake, the company is still bringing the game to PS4. Xbox fans - you're going to need a new gen console for this one!
Are you excited for Street Fighter 6 on Xbox? Let us know your thoughts on the new trailer!
Excellent to see it coming to both consoles, games like this feel like they very much should be played by as many people as possible.
Street fighter is a gaming institution!
That YouTube thumb makes it look like she's having a right good scratch 🤣
It's certainly a good time for fighter fans, that's for damn sure!
Cammy is so cool, love the redesign.
@Kaloudz itchy bum syndrome can affect anyone!
wow Cammy is so pretty!
Really wish I was good at fighting games! I always get it into my head when a new fighting game comes out that I will try and master it but I always just get whooped!
Actually reminds me more and more of virtua fighter in its visuals. Not particularly a bad thing
The fighting stuff on SF6 is looking really good. The single-player content still looks pretty janky IMO. Hoping it gets the amount of polish these character models have been getting.
@Kloppo Once you get some concepts sorted, you can learn really fast, and most of the "hard stuff" transfers from one fighting game to the others. "Get gud" is a tough road, but rewarding.
The art style of this game is atrocious. They seem to not know if they want to be photorealistic or cartoony. And it just looks uncanny and ugly.
Might skip this one for Tekken
