At the time of writing we're still around 13 hours away from the release of Atomic Heart on Xbox Game Pass here in the UK, but some people are already playing the game early - and that's courtesy of the New Zealand launch.

Yes, once again, the "New Zealand trick" is getting all sorts of attention on social media, as Xbox players change their region so they can access the game a few hours earlier than anticipated. We must note that you should only do this at your own risk — we think it's better to be safe than sorry, but it's ultimately your choice!

Atomic Heart Is Already Live On Xbox Game Pass In New Zealand 2

If you haven't heard of it, Atomic Heart is a brand-new FPS with action RPG elements in which you'll journey to a wacky world of "mutant creatures, terrifying machines and superpowered robots" as you attempt to "fight for your life in explosive and frenetic encounters". It's available with Xbox Game Pass across Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
