After years and years of waiting, Konami finally brought Silent Hill back into the conversation with the recent announcement of multiple series projects, including a PlayStation-exclusive remake. However, Konami is also presenting the opportunity for even more Silent Hill projects to get going.

In a new interview with IGN, series producer Motoi Okamoto says that now the word is out about Silent Hill coming back, the team is "all ears" about further game pitches from developers.

"Unfortunately, there are some projects that never actually got off the ground. Still, I think the number of projects we have will only continue to grow.

The fact we were reviving Silent Hill was a secret until now, so we couldn't exactly go out and yell, β€˜Hey, everyone! Bring us your Silent Hill projects!’ We can do that now, so if creators from around the world who love Silent Hill bring us their pitches, I promise to look through every one of them. We're all ears."

Given Silent Hill 2 Remake is currently a PlayStation exclusive (for at least 12 months), this could provide a nice opportunity for Xbox to get in on the action and pitch something. Microsoft owns The Evil Within developer Tango Gameworks now - we're just saying!

All jokes aside, we'd like to see any future Silent Hill projects come straight to Xbox to be honest, regardless of whether they turned out to be exclusive to the platform.
