Ubisoft has finally revealed Far Cry 6's 'Lost Between Worlds' expansion, almost two months on from first announcing the DLC as part of a new edition of the game. Lost Between Worlds is a "rich, action-packed gauntlet" that takes place in a fractured, otherworldly land - and it looks quite a bit different to what the main game offers up!

Structurally, we're not expecting this to contain its own open world or anything - the trailer itself says that the DLC contains a "non-linear progression of rifts", which look to teleport the player to various different shattered locales.

"Lost Between Worlds, the surreal expansion to Far Cry 6: Conquer 15 unique life-or-death trials in this thrilling new chapter of Dani Rojas’ story. A rich, action-packed gauntlet with deadly crystal enemies, multiple player paths, all-new lore, and a wide variety of unique gameplay challenges. Test your wit, prove your skill, and overcome death itself – or be lost forever."

Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds launches for Xbox on December 6th, coming in at €19.99. Regional pricing hasn't been revealed just yet, but expect this one to cost a similar amount in the US and the UK.

This new expansion is of course available as part of the recently launched GOTY Edition as well, which normally costs £100 here in the UK. Until the end of today, that bundle is discounted at 50% off as part of the Xbox Black Friday Sale 2022, so there's one way to grab the Lost Between Worlds add-on as part of a decent deal!
