Bad news if you were looking forward to the launch of Warhammer 40K: Darktide in September (which is also supposed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass), as it's been pushed back indefinitely for Xbox Series X and Series S.
The new date for PC is November 30th, and the plan is for Xbox Series X|S to follow "shortly after".
"Delaying a game is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions a developer faces and one we are not excited about making. Still, we hope this speaks to our commitment to taking the time necessary and doing whatever it takes to get you the best possible game."
Despite the delay, a series of technical tests and betas will reportedly be available ahead of launch, and you can sign up on the game's official website now if you'd like to take part.
A bit of a bummer, then, but let's hope it'll ultimately be worth the wait.

This one hurts. One of the few known games I was still looking forward to gamepass delivering this year.
Hopefully scorn now doesn’t see another delay too.
Oh no! This was one of the games that had me excited from the show and its desperately dissapointing to see it delayed.
I could play on pc I suppose, but I much prefer to play consoles and hoping Id play this on series x..... sigh.
Well another reason you only subscribe month to month, save up for a free month of gamepass when they actually release something

Sigh ... another game I was kind of looking forward to gets delayed. While I understand it's better to delay than push out a busted game but it still sucks in the short term.
@BBB Gaming year in general. So much crap getting delayed in all sectors... One of the worst gaming years in a very long time...
I've been waiting since the first announcement date...and it just seems like xbox culture of no crunch time...is rubbing off on this 3rd party developer for xbox pc exclusive. I understand the effort to not make these workers suicidal but God dammmm this liberal mumbo jumbo is insane howany games are going to delay...I would not be surprised if they release in 2023....my god I'm the biggest xbox halo guy others and I rather play halo mcc over the bs content available on in infinite......wtf xbox start clucking heads and cracking the whip
