Update: If you're interested in getting involved, you can now sign up for the Overwatch 2 beta on the game's official website, ahead of its arrival on Xbox on June 28th.

"Those participating in the beta will be among the first to bring new hero Junker Queen to the battlefield. You’ll also get to check out new hero Sojourn, try out Push mode, and take the fight worldwide with maps in New York, Rome, Monte Carlo, and Rio."

A whole bunch of new information has been revealed about the game as well, including what to expect from Season 1 and Season 2, which you can find over at the official Xbox Wire website.


Original story: Blizzard has announced that the Overwatch 2 beta finally begins later this month, and it's coming to consoles as well as PC! For now, you'll have to sign up for access, with the application process opening up this Thursday, June 16th.

The beta itself will then kick off on June 28th, with Blizzard now sharing a little info on what it'll contain. Expect the 'Junker Queen' map to feature, along with a brand new map designed for OW2. More information on the contents of the beta will be revealed on sign up day, June 16th.
