Microsoft has officially announced all four Xbox Games With Gold titles for April 2022! These games are available to download for free for Xbox Live Gold members (including subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate).
Here's the complete list of titles you can look forward to in April:
Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One
Another Sight (April 1 - 30)
ANOTHER SIGHT is a surreal fantasy adventure with steampunk elements set in London in 1899, towards the end of the Victorian era. With an emphasis on culture and character, ANOTHER SIGHT focuses on the emotional development of the relationship between its two protagonists, Kit, a refreshingly intrepid teenager, and Hodge – a mysterious red-furred cat. They meet in the darkness of a London Underground construction site, after Kit loses her sight when the tunnel she had been exploring collapses. They team up for an adventure into the unexpected, with Hodge proving himself to be an indispensable companion, upon whom Kit will come to rely.
Hue (April 16 - May 15):
Hue is a vibrant, award-winning puzzle adventure, where you alter the world by changing its background colour. You explore a dangerous grey land, unearthing coloured fragments on a journey to find your missing mother. As obstacles match the background, they disappear, creating new and exciting puzzles - full of peril, mystery… and colours unseen.
Xbox 360 / Original Xbox
Outpost Kaloki X (April 1 - 15):
Outpost Kaloki X is the light-hearted space-station tycoon game filled with clever characters and wacky storylines, where it’s your job to keep the visiting aliens happy and rake in the cash! Play the Adventure Story, the War Story or any one of 11 different Scenarios. Chat with your patrons to find out what they really want… and to get hot tips on cool expansions.
MX vs. ATV Alive (April 16 - 30):
Own the competition as you wrestle for position with tightly contested racing in the fifth iteration of the MX vs ATV franchise. Feel the realism of the revolutionary real-world physics engine which has defined the racing genre. Live the sport as Alive captures the spectacle of motocross and the essence of competitive racing while providing the best riders and gear from the latest manufacturers.

Hue is a great little game. Loved it on my Vita.

All I can say is I'm glad I have Game Pass Ultimate and therefore get a LOT more this next month than the abysmal offerings from GwG.
Another month where I won't bother to add anything to my collection.
Why still have Gold. Bad games, bad press, every month. Roll it into Gamepass.
I think if Microsoft dropped these “free games” since it’s been downhill for awhile now and lowered the price of live that would get a lot more subscribers.

Those are pretty much the games that are littered all over game pass. Low quality, throw aways.
@Bdbrady Already do. Majority of game pass are those level of games. That old school 8 bit Nintendo side scrolls from 80s.

@Bdbrady It's already part of Gamepass Ultimate. Given Sony's recent announcement, I would not be shocked if the "feared" GamePass price hike everyone keeps whining will happen sooner or later will simply be XBox simplifying all their offerings by only offering GamePass Ultimate, getting rid of XBox Live Gold AND the basic tiers of GamePass.
Even once that happens, I dont expect GamePass Ultimate to stop offering the 2 meh games a month that wont ever leave your library despite future catalog rotations.
Well, I mean this is laughably bad, but who really bothers with these games when Gamepass exists? There's been a few decent ones in the last few months, Radiant Silvergun for one, but on the whole these games I pretty much ignore most months. This month seems particularly poor though.
Hue looks interesting.
I've always fancied giving Another Sight a play.

I remember playing Outpost Kaloki way back in the day. I enjoyed it then and maybe I'll use this opportunity to play it again.
@Bdbrady because it’s not about free games. Those are a bonus. Gold is about online gaming.

MX vs. ATV Alive looks alright. Not interested in the other games.
