Usually, there's not much to report on when it comes to FIFA games. They come and go every year like clockwork, with a few new additions to keep things fresh. However, this year's title might be a little different, as the series could finally be getting cross-play support.

That's according to a new xfire report from Tom Henderson, a well-known leaker of all things EA. According to Henderson, FIFA 23 will follow much of the industry in uniting players across Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.

The game's tech has also been improved, says the report. FIFA's 'Hypermotion Technology', first introduced in last year's game, has been "enhanced tenfold", which allows EA to capture imagery from real players during real matches.

There have also been reports in recent months that EA could drop the FIFA name for its flagship football series, although currently, that doesn't seem to be the case with FIFA 23. Moving forward though, it's looking a real possibility.
