It's been a long time coming, but we may well be close to Fall Guys on Xbox. The smash hit took the world by storm when it first launched on PS4 and PC, and we've been waiting for that Xbox version ever since. Developer Mediatonic now has an update for us.
In the team's latest blog post, which discusses the addition of cross-play, we get an update on the Xbox version. Although it ain't quite ready for this mid-season update, Mediatonic assures us it's not far off.
We know that news regarding Fall Guys on Nintendo Switch and Xbox is highly anticipated. We're finalising development, and though it isn't within this update, it’s still coming! Until then, we're super excited to enable this cross-platform functionality for our existing platforms as a first step.
That cross-play option is currently between PS4 and PC, the only platforms Fall Guys is available on right now. However, it's safe to assume Mediatonic wants full cross-play when the other versions release, so this may well be a test bed for the Xbox and Switch launch.

i had purchased it on ps4 it's fun casually for a couple of match but it get quite repetitive fast,fun idea just not for long time sitting sessions.
Hahahahah way way way way too late. This was one of the games I really wanted to play in like early 2021. I've got like no desire to play this anymore. Developers took way too long to release this on Xbox. Even now its just a update with no release date. Honestly doubt many people will care about playing it.

I think they've missed the boat unless this goes into Game Pass.
I'd still look forward to it. I think they'd have had better numbers had it been quicker, but I suspect Sony had some say over that.
The ship sailed for this game 2 years ago. They took waaaaay to long to get this out on other platforms. Panic Button could've ported this in 3 months. Should've hired them to do it, instead of waiting until the novelty has completely worn out.
If in gamepass i might give it a go with the kids but yeah...i hope they aren't expecting big numbers when it does come out, especially if not in gamepass or F2P at that point
I agree it's too late now, the fall guy fad has gone. I will be surprised if anyone plays it, when it's finally here! Even my kids don't care anymore and not intrested

I’m sure once it releases for Switch and XBOX it’ll either be free-to-play or part of gamepass. I’m still playing it on PC as I’m a sucker for silly platformer/party games but the player-base has been dropping heavily.
Striking while the iron is hot I see.
I played this a little on my PS4 Pro, its pretty dull, a real one trick pony game, a repetitive game that was only worth it as PSN Plus freebie fodder.
