It's sometimes brought up as a criticism that Xbox sends a lot of gift packages to influencers, but rarely to random fans of the brand. That isn't the case this time around, as Xbox owners have been getting surprises through their letterboxes.
As highlighted by VGC, members of the Xbox FanFest program have been taking to social media to express their shock and delight at getting a gift package called the "20 Years of Xbox Keepsake Kit". This includes the Halo Infinite Limited Edition controller, 12 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and a custom engraved crystal.

As previously noted, these have been received by "randomly selected" Xbox FanFest members, which is a program designed for fans to access "Xbox hosted events, promotions, and curated online experiences".
It's great to see Xbox fans getting treated to this special Keepsake kit, and we admit we're pretty jealous! The controller and Game Pass Ultimate subscription are amazing, but that engraved crystal is definitely something to cherish.

Hmmm, was out yesterday and came home to a missed delivery slip that I haven't collected yet. Chances of it being one of these packages......... no chance
I think this was a random draw for people that signed up for the fan fest. Pretty cool stuff. Xbox keeps delivering. Just got my design lab controllers in 9 days and they are so cool.
Well I not get one ...I haven't ever even got the measly couple of £ gift cards they give out sometimes...despite being on Xbox live for almost 15 years....yet my gf got one months after she signed up ...rollseyes
A nice touch from Xbox, I wonder if any of us UK fans will get one?

@JayJ I didn’t get this one, but I did get another Xbox fan fest box of goodies earlier this year. At the time I searched #xboxfanfest on Twitter and many other normal gamers also got them too.
Yet another US only giveaway no doubt. UK gamers don't get anything. It's like we don't exist across the platforms. Also these so called fans are blatantly Influencers regardless of whatever they call themselves.
@PartyMarty you've got no chance. Sony and MS don't care about us UK gamers just our money. That's why it took so long to get Playstation Direct or Xbox Store over here.

@Stocksy Yes just signed up for the Xbox FanFest website when it started. I believe it's random, don't think i've done anything to be singled out. []EDIT: I did buy most of the consoles Day 1, not sure if that factors in.]
Though there could be some sort of bar that needs passing to try to select and award long time fans e.g. the new Xbox anniversary website shows all the data they have on us. In my case 14 years with Xbox live, 200,000+ gamerscore, 500 odd games played definitely shows i'm a long time Xbox fan, even if I play everywhere else too.
@themightyant nice. I’ve been with Xbox since OG Xbox days….. still have two of the original bad boys. I originally signed up on my old work email and when I got my Xbox one I ditched it and signed up with a new email rather than change my email. Dunno why…. I think I couldn’t get access to reset. It was years ago now. So that might count against me but like you my history would still show I’m very active. Either way I don’t mind if I’m not selected odds are slim just nice to see someone here get something. Especially one of the more balanced posters.
@Stocksy Odds are always slim, there's only going to be a handful of these, it's just nice to see it going to fans not influencers through the FanFest programme. As I said I was very grateful to get anything.
'Balanced'. Thank you, though not sure most think that, lol. But I speak my mind and say what I think is true. Even if playing devil's advocate, and being anti-disinformation/fanboy BS, that often is more combative than intended. We all have biases.
End of the day I love Xbox, I just love other games platforms too.
