We've still got a few more days to wait until Forza Horizon 5 releases with Xbox Game Pass on November 9th, but if you've bought any version of the Premium Edition, you can start playing with early access on Friday, November 5th.
You're going to get plenty of access as well, as the release time has been revealed as "midnight for your countries most Eastern time zone". This means it will release at 00:00 ET / 00:00 BST (and 21:00 PT on Nov 4th).
"This is a rolling release. All editions will release at midnight (date depending on the edition you purchased) for your countries most Eastern time zone. i.e. USA Eastern time zone of midnight will be 9pm Pacific time."
As you can see from the message above, these same release times will apply to the standard launch on November 9th with Xbox Game Pass, so you won't be waiting around all day to start playing next Tuesday either.
If you want to sign up for early access right now, you've got two options. Firstly, the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition includes the game with a whole heap of extras including two future expansions. Alternatively, the Premium Add-Ons Bundle is targeted specifically at Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and includes all the Premium Edition content aside from the game itself - which you can play anyway with Game Pass.
Both of the following bundles will give you early access to the full game from November 5th:
- Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle (Xbox Store) - £35.99 / $44.99
The Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle allows you to play four days early beginning 5 November 2021. It also includes the Welcome Pack, Car Pass, VIP Membership and two game expansions when they become available. This add-on requires Forza Horizon 5 (game sold separately).
- Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition (Xbox Store) - £84.99 / $99.99
Your Ultimate Horizon Adventure awaits! Explore the vibrant and ever-evolving open world landscapes of Mexico with limitless, fun driving action in hundreds of the world’s greatest cars. The Premium Edition includes early access, allowing you to play the game four days early beginning November 5, 2021. Also included are the Welcome Pack, Car Pass, VIP Membership and two game expansions when they become available.

Glad I'm not home this weekend or I probably would've caved and spent money on the game lol
@SplooshDmg
Indeed. Guess there'll be no one on the horizon to spoil your fun 😁 I'm waiting till it hits Game Pass.

Such a good deal, and such a good way to extra support Playground Games.
Those of us on the pacific coast are always lucky with these midnight releases, we get them 3 hours early! Looking forward to playing this right away. I got the Gamepass premium add-ons, always been a big Forza fan so I know I will get a lot out of it. I figure if they ever stop selling this game or if for some reason I stop subscribing to Gamepass I can just get the base game whenever.
Can't wait. Love how MS treats midnight releases with region free. It's always midnight somewhere.
I've jumped on this myself.
I'd buy the DLC anyway, and I can always purchase the actual game further down the line when it goes on sale if need be to complete the set.
Hope they do something similar like this for Halo Infinite.
Already installed and waiting. It's gonna be a late night.
Waiting for the 9th. Really excited, though. Might try to speed run through Horizon 3 or 4 this weekend. It’s the first weekend in a while I have nothing going on and can get some alone time!
I’ve gone digital now and the fact that Forza Horizon 6 is going to be free on gamepass I have no need to buy the game for the sake of waiting a few days.
Nothing else matters this weekend but this! Can not frickin wait!!
I got the premium add-ons but my Xbox is at my other home
I have to wait until Sunday to download it and play now
@Xiovanni yeah it may only be a few days but if the games ready for release then it should be available to play for everyone that bought it not just the the people that can afford the pricier version Id say the same thing if Sony did this with horizon
