Microsoft Rewards: How To Complete The Far Cry Punch Card (250 Points)

It's Microsoft Rewards time! You might have noticed last week that another new punch card went live on the Microsoft Rewards app on Xbox, and it offers yet another way to get 250 easy points for just a few minutes' work.

The difference this time is that none of the games included in the batch (Far Cry 3 Classic, 4 and 5) are available on Xbox Game Pass, so to complete this one, you're going to need to own one of those games ahead of time.

The punch card requires you to get one achievement in any of the aforementioned Far Cry titles. There are loads of potential options to choose from, but here are some suggestions to help you get started:

Far Cry 3 Classic (360 version doesn't work)

Nice and easy one to start with! If you've never played Far Cry 3 Classic, try the First Blood achievement, which simply requires you to get through the early intro. Another easy one is Hunter Hunted, in which you attempt to get attacked by an animal (while exploring) and then kill it to pop the Achievement. Finally, perhaps try Island Paparazzi if you've already done the other two, which requires you to tag 25 enemies using the camera.

Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4 is not as easy as Far Cry 3 Classic, but the Welcome to Kyrat achievement is fairly self-explanatory - just play the game for about an hour to two hours to complete the first act. If you don't want to wait that long, you can again do another camera achievement to tag 25 enemies called Shutterbug, or perhaps try Tread Lightly in which you need to liberate any outpost without trigging an alarm.

Far Cry 5

Guess what? Far Cry 5 has another intro achievement which can be completed by playing through the start of the game called The Spark, and another popular one is Arcade Hero, which requires you to play any five Arcade Hero games (you can lose if you want to) in the 'Arcade' mode. If you want another choice, perhaps try Road Gunner which requires you to kill 25 enemies while driving or leaning out of a vehicle.

It shouldn't take you too long to complete this punch card, so don't forget to do it! It's only live until September 26, which means you've got a few days left to take advantage. We've only verified that this one's available in the UK and US so far, while the US also has exclusive Hispanic Heritage Month and Support Special Olympics punch cards available right now in which you can get 500 points for each of them.

If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards program, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of obtaining points - you can also earn hundreds per-day by completing Bing searches on PC and mobile, earning Achievements in Xbox games, finding Weekly Treasures, pre-ordering specific games and much more.
