EA Committed To Investing In The Jedi: Fallen Order Franchise

Star Wars fans seemed to gravitate towards Jedi: Fallen Order when it initially launched back in 2019. It's no surprise, as the game perfectly captured the spirit of the Star Wars universe, along with delivering some stellar lightsaber combat. Luckily for fans, EA has said it's committed to investing in the series going forward.

During the company's Q1 2022 earnings call, the company spoke about the success of Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It was said both IPs will continue to be invested in, which isn't surprising for Mass Effect, but great news for the Star Wars series.

"Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order coming to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 was also a moment for new and returning players to jump into that amazing game. We're continuing to invest in [this franchise], as well as more of our amazing IP."

It's fantastic to see an element of the Star Wars IP used to great effect when the latest movie trilogy disappointed a ton of fans. The Xbox Series X and Series S upgrade for Jedi: Fallen Order was a fantastic improvement as well, boosting the game on next-gen systems with 4K visuals and 60fps support.

When we'll see the next iteration of the series is yet to be determined, but you can guarantee Star Wars fans - us included - will be there day one for the next adventure.
