Update: It looks like this might have been a mistake on Microsoft's part, as Injustice: Gods Among Us is now showing with a discount of 67%, bringing it down to £8.24 / $4.99. It's on sale on the Microsoft Store for the next five days.
Original story: The classic Xbox 360 fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us was made available as part of June's Xbox Games with Gold selection, but if you happened to miss out, it's currently showing as free again for Xbox Live Gold members.
We're not quite sure why it's still available to claim, but we've seen this happen with the likes of original Xbox game MX Unleashed in the past, so it's not the first time Microsoft has recycled an old Games with Gold title in this way.
If you've never played it, Injustice: Gods Among Us was developed by the creators of Mortal Kombat, and brings together DC Comics icons in "epic battles". The 2017 sequel is also available as part of Xbox Game Pass.
What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? Heroes and villains will engage in epic battles on a massive scale in a world where the line between good and evil has been blurred.

Far as I'm concerned, this is a must-grab for every fighting game fan, so if you don't have it yet, do yourself a favor and get it now.
The only thing I would like to see being discarded, is the highly annoying tutorial part where you have to pull off moves and button combinations that become more and more impossible to get right:
I can manage most of them, but there are always some where I either get the timing or rhythm of the button pushes wrong, and it never registers, meaning I'll find myself stuck in training limbo forever.
I already hated that when they had it in Mortal Kombat, and I still hate it today in games like these.
Still, regardless of that rather annoying part, I couldn't make an easier recommendation for a fighting game, especially now that it's still up for grabs as a freebie.
