Cold Symmetry is bringing an expansion to Mortal Shell's known as The Virtuous Cycle, coming soon to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Little is known about the expansion, but the short trailer gives us more of the brutal gameplay we've come to love from the game. More about the DLC will be "explained in due time."
The expansion joins a free Xbox Series X|S upgrade which came earlier this year. Not only that, but a further patch was pushed out to allow Xbox Series S owners to experience the visceral combat at 60FPS. Seems the Mortal Shell hype train isn't going to end anytime soon.

I played this one, at first I thought it was great but by the end I thought it was just ok
@sirmrguitardude I had the exact opposite experience. Didn't like it at first until I found the stamina shell, and the fire weapon. Enjoyed it pretty much from there on.
@Cherip-the-Ripper I think it was because I did that giant open dungeon first which I think was meant to be the hardest and from then on it was all a bit too easy. I'm still tempted to get this DLC though.
@sirmrguitardude they most certainly could've done something better for the level design and level scaling. I've read plenty online about people going to the 'wrong' area first or having an easy time afterwards.
