Ready to play ball? MLB The Show 21 marks the series' debut on Xbox consoles next Tuesday, April 20th, and the PlayStation Studios title is now available to preload with pre-orders and for Xbox Game Pass members.
To access the Xbox Game Pass pre-load specifically, you'll need to head into the Xbox Game Pass app on your console and look for the "coming soon" section, and then click on the game. From there, you can choose to 'install all'.
You're looking at a download size of just over 70GB on Xbox Series X, and 45GB on Xbox Series S and Xbox One consoles, and don't forget that the next-gen version also includes some unique features such as a stadium creator.
If you're pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe or Jackie Robinson versions of MLB The Show 21, you'll be able to get early access to the game as soon as this Friday, April 16th, while everyone else will have to wait until Tuesday, April 20th.

Being a big hockey fan (I'm Canadian eh?) and with NHL 21 just coming out yesterday on GamePass, you would think I would be good to go. Nope! I'm much more looking forward to MLB The Show.
There's just something so chill about playing a baseball game and I think the last time I did was.... TurboGrafx 16.
finally the days are getting closer!
Saw that yesterday and pre-installed it already. I can't wait to play a baseball game on my Xbox again it's been too long.
Yup, I paid for early access even though it’s available normal launch day via gamepass.
What can I say, I hate between console years when the game is delayed and have the itch to play throughout spring training.
I did notice the preload on my X and S is the same 72 GB.
I am basketball fan, not a Baseball fan, but I have pre installed and Will give it a try.
