Beyond a Steel Sky launched on Apple Arcade and Steam last year, and it's now making its way onto Xbox One later this year, developer Revolution Software has confirmed. The game will be available both digitally and physically, but there's no confirmed date as of yet.

The cyberpunk themed game is jumping to consoles to show everyone one what all the fuss is about. It's actually a sequel to a game known as Beneath a Steel Sky, which released all the way back in 1994. This time around, players will be solving the mystery behind a missing child, which takes you to an elaborate futuristic city. Here you'll solve puzzles, talk to the inhabitants, and take in its gorgeous views. It's being worked on by the same developer as Broken Sword, so fans of the classic series will feel right at home here.

Beyond a Steel Sky well received on its initial release and the Steam reviews currently stand at it being very positive, so we're looking forward to giving it a go when it comes to consoles later this year.
