If you're a big fan of Tom Clancy's The Division 2, which received just received a fantastic Xbox Series X update, you'll be glad to hear that Ubisoft has decided to extend its plans for further post-launch content in 2021.
Originally, December 2020's Title Update 12 was supposed to be the last major update for the game, but the fans' "continued passion and support" has ensured that fresh content will be released later in the year.
As we mentioned, The Division 2 recently was treated to an excellent 4K, 60 frames per-second upgrade on Xbox Series X which has received rave reviews so far, and has likely boosted the game's popularity even further.
If you fancy checking out the game for yourself, The Division 2 is actually on sale at a whopping 70% off as part of the Xbox Lunar Year Sale 2021 for the next day-or-so, and there's also a free trial available of the full game.

Cynic in me is thinking: "damn we have to delay The Division 3 because of the same reasons we had to delay everything else... Let's just throw more content at Division 2 for the time being...."
Massive is currently heading up development on a Star Wars project so The Division 3 will probably be a way off, especially as Ubisoft intends to focus on fewer AAA titles going forward. I imagine the current plan of action internally will be to drip feed extra Division 2 content to keep players playing.
Can't wait to start The Division..
Ok, I'm gonna buy the expansion, now. It's on sale for one more day, so here we go.
Off the back of the feedback the Series X enhancements have got, I decided to play the 8hr trial. A few hours in and I bought the full game and the expansion, £7.49 each. It completely surprised me, wasn't what I was expecting at all. A very deep and tactical shooter with a great setting and solid gameplay. It sings on Series X too 😊
Yeah, is a solid, enjoyable game 🤗
I've only really played as single player, and would assume that playing with others would be even better.
The expansion is good. Much tighter gameplay.
Last week I picked up the 2020 New York Expansion with the SX update and I'm really enjoying a return to The Division 2. Recently I've been struggling to stay with Cyberpunk & Black Ops. The Division 2 remains great fun, its good to hear that there are plans for new content this year.
