State of Decay 2 has received Update 24, which finally adds mouse and keyboard support to Xbox systems, on top of a free T-shirt being made available in-game to commemorate Black History Month.
In an extensive patch which delivered a wealth of bug fixes, outfits, and weapons, one of the key inclusions was mouse and keyboard support. The feature has been requested by many fans for quite a while now and their voices have finally been heard as it's now available.
"After this update, the game no longer assumes that console players are restricted to using a controller. Now if you hook up a mouse and keyboard to your Xbox, or connect to the game via Remote Play on a PC, you can control it using the same customizable mouse and keyboard controls that have always been available when playing the game directly on a PC."
To support the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP), an exclusive in-game T-shirt is also available, created by the artist Ty Ferrell. The T-shirt is also available to purchase physically through the Xbox Gear Store for a limited time, with all profits being donated to NAACP, along with an additional $5,000 donation.
Xbox recently revealed its plans for Black History Month, which also sees Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Minecraft: Educational Edition receiving exclusive content to support the month.

"...or connect to the game via Remote Play on a PC...."
Remote Play via PC that isn't available to the general public, yet.
Really wish Halo Wars 1+2 would have added K+B support on console. A really underused feature that could be supported easily for many games with PC ports.
