Remember back in May last year when an Xbox event kicked off with Bright Memory: Infinite? Well, a new trailer for the game has dropped, as well as confirmation that it's still aiming to be released this year.
The new trailer focuses on the villain of the game, giving us our first glimpse of what they look like. While not much else is mentioned, the trailer does also give a new look at gameplay towards the end, and it looks as exhilarating and as heart pounding as it did back in May last year.
You can pick up the original game, Bright Memory 1.0, via the Xbox Store on Xbox Series X|S. It's only a short next-gen experience, but gives you a taste of what to expect from Bright Memory: Infinite, which will be much meatier.

I’m so ridiculously stoked for this game. It’s been so long since I’ve played a fast paced FPS.
be nice to play a single-player focused FPS this year
Q) Are you looking forward to Bright Memory Infinite?
A) Yep; glad to have it reconfirmed for a 2021 release though I was hoping for at least a seasonal info reveal (Spring, Summer, Autumn). Still, cool to see a little bit more of it. I enjoyed the original Bright Memory on my Xbox Series X and look forward to a lengthier experience of it.
