It's time for another Xbox Game Pass tease! This time, it comes courtesy of the official Xbox account for Germany, hinting that the service will be bringing back an old favourite - presumably in January.
Once again, the tease was provided in the form of a 'Melissa McGamePass' fake email, highlighting the upcoming release of The Medium, as well as announcing a fan favourite is "officially coming back".
Here's the key info (provided by Google Translate):
"Next up... you remember when we added REDACTED and everyone was happy, but when it went off Xbox Game Pass, everyone was sad? Well, it's officially coming back!"
It remains to be seen what the game is, but we'd take a guess that it might be something like Grand Theft Auto V or Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which only stuck around for a very short time on Xbox Game Pass in 2020. Fallout 4 also seems very possible, or maybe even something like Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
In any case, we're hoping we'll find out more about January's Xbox Game Pass additions very soon!

GTA V will be what everyone is hoping for, but Fallout seems the more likely, given the Bethesda acquisition, and the promise that the existing games in their portfolio will make their way to GamePass. Doom Eternal was the last one added I think, and that was October 1st, so seems about the right time to add another big hitter?

I own fallout 4,gta v and red dead 2 so meh lol.. I only recently bought fallout 4 in a sale because I wanted to finish the game now on the series x, I couldn't take the load times on the xbox one when I first bought it on release

I may be in the minority here... but Ashen left game pass right before I joined! Always regretted not being able to play it on game pass and the game never goes on sale for xbox

It would be so cool if it was Red Dead 2. I didn't play it and I just subscribed to gamepass.

With Xbox acquiring Bethesda I’d assume it would be Fallout 4, pretty pointless getting GTA5 because almost everyone owns that game already
Will be RDR2.
More so now they have starting selling the multiplayer as separate from the main game, tells me they must want to boost the online player base. Game Pass would help that no issues.

I think it'll be RDR2, with those exclusivity deals with Sony for the PS5 version I doubt it would be GTAV coming back to Game Pass meanwhile Rockstar tried to make RDR2 be another GTAV but it was nowhere near as successful as GTAV so Game Pass would help boost the Red Dead Online numbers.
Well, I guess that wasn't about Control like people thought when it was originally put out there (I think last month)....
RDR2 would be a great addition! This time I wouldn't miss it
Just for the record, I really don't care for GTA
