The release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One is now just a few days away, and Ubisoft has provided a ten-minute look at the game running on Microsoft's most powerful next-gen system.

You can check this out in the 4K, 60FPS video above, which provides us with a deep dive into various aspects of the game, including settlements, river raids, combat, exploration and much more.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store in three different versions, with all of them supporting Xbox Smart Delivery, granting you a free upgrade whenever you decide to buy one of the new consoles.

Its the same every time. Black flag then Syndicate was my last time. I get wowed by these videos so buy the game then get bored of it after 1hr. The gameplay just doesn't do it for me....... but it does look really good. Maybe this time will be different?

@StonyKL well Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla are different from the older AC games. Different gameplay. More like RPGs. I much prefer the newer games!

My main new game at launch, I'm really liking the look of this and the return of the older stealth mechanics. Hopefully the settlement building feels worthwhile and adds as much as it appears to

I'm loving Odyssey right now but I have to say I really don't like the art direction of Valhalla, and it clearly looks like a last gen game to me. I think Odyssey looks better.
