Yakuza: Like a Dragon is one of the launch titles heading the way of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 10th, and SEGA has unleashed a brand-new Xbox trailer for those versions of the game.
And yeah, it's weird! It puts a playful spin on your typical next-gen trailer, highlighting the game's "breathtaking visuals" and "blazing fast speeds", but also its "next-gen crustacean AI" and "cutting-edge hairstyles".
Let's just gloss over that headline image, shall we? We don't even need to talk about it...

A) Yep, I do. It and Bright Memory 1.0 are my Xbox Series X launch game plans. I love the gameplay of turn based RPGs and the game looks hilarious so I'm confident I'll have a good time with this.
That trailer was brilliant, even if it could have done more to present it's core gameplay. Still, it was a short trailer that had me laughing throughout which sets the tone well.
This game is where fast switching between games becomes so useful. If my wife walks in while iām tickling some grown men in diapers... you know iām switching to GTA to appear as innocent as possible. And without losing any progress either!

Great ad for the game. Never played a Yakuza game but I will get this one.
I'm in two minds about getting this,
On the one hand I enjoy the series immensely.
On the other hand I've never "payed" for it and I haven't played 3,4,5,6 leaping to 7 despite the change in lead doesn't sit well with me.
This series is way too Japanese for me. Every time I see a trailer or any gameplay footage for a Yakuza game, it just makes me š at how cringe it looks.
But to each their own, I guess. šš»
