Gears Tactics makes its Xbox console debut alongside the release of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S this November 10th, and by completing the tutorial, you'll unlock the game's main character for use in Gears 5.
Specifically, the Armored Gabe Diaz Skin will be available to use in Gears 5 multiplayer beginning November 17th for everyone who progresses through that simple Gears Tactics tutorial. Good stuff!
And of course, don't forget that both games are available to play with Xbox Game Pass, with Gears Tactics already part of the service for PC, and joining for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S next month.

If I continue my save from a PC, do I need to play the tutorial again?
@Murray I believe you can complete it on any platform.
One of main reasons I’m getting the X is for gears tactics! So this is good as I’ll sure be playing gears 5 at some point too.
@Murray since you use your Xbox account for the game on PC (even if it's the Steam version) it all tracks progress.
Can't wait to play Gears Tactics on Series X.
