Following the release of Xbox Cloud Gaming (Project xCloud) for Android with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate last month, Microsoft made Minecraft Dungeons available to play entirely with touch controls.
Now, it's adding ten more games to that list, ensuring that you don't even need a controller in order to enjoy some of your favourite Game Pass games on the go. Impressive stuff!
Here are the titles that have joined the touch controls lineup:
- Dead Cells
- Gucamelee! 2
- Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
- Hotshot Racing
- Killer Instinct
- New Super Lucky’s Tale
- Slay The Spire
- Streets of Rage 4
- Tell Me Why
- UnderMine
This isn't just a case of adding the same controls to every title, either - Microsoft has worked specifically with each of them to "create an experience designed specifically for that game on mobile devices."
You can try these out right now via the Xbox Game Pass app for Android if you're an Ultimate member, and Microsoft says it's working to add touch controls to more games in the future.
"This update is just the start of our work to bring touch controls to more titles available for Android mobile devices. So give it a try and let us know what you think, after all we are building cloud gaming together."
Will you be playing your Xbox Game Pass games this way? Let us know in the comments below.

That's really cool, always impressed when MS adds stuff like this. More options are always welcome.
I'll be giving this a try. The best place to play is on the crapper and bringing a controller with you ain't very appealing... wonder if that was the thought here
Great that they're adding more titles. My kids have tried Minecraft dungeons on their tabs and said it works great with touch controls so expect the same here. Always good to have more options!
Great, now Slay the Spire will take over my life even more. 😂
Honestly, Night in the Woods would work nicely with touch controls
Ooo I’ve got to try New Super Luckys Tale with touch controls. There are not many controls so I think it should work great.
Dead Cells and Undermine are great games for mobile. xCloud is starting to look interesting to people like me who won't buy a dedicated peripheral.
Just tried new super lucky tail and it's okay, maybe it's because i haven't played mobile games with these types of controls before but it's definitely lacking compared to a controller. In a bind it's ok but i found myself dying a lot more often than should be expected of a non toddler playing this game.
@Krzzystuff how do your normally play the game on a XB1X?
(There is a reason that I ask)
@mousieone I don't have any Xbox at the moment. Jumped in when they said they we're cancelling the 12 months of Xbox live Gold and bought up 3 years and converted to ultimate for $1... didn't want to miss out. Playing on a laptop now hooked up to a TV... really looking forward to my x as i am NOT a PC gamer. Getting a clip for my cell for xmass so I can stream when required.
What's the reason for the question?
@Krzzystuff I didn’t necessarily mean an Xbox. I felt a response difference playing on the X versa The Switch/xCloud due to frame rate. I died far more often on those two (actually I barely died on the X) So even if you are used to the “Pro” you’ll feel it. However if you are staring with the xCloud version anyway. Then it doesn’t matter
This will be very appealing to the "casual" and Japanese market. Well done!
I'm going to give some a shot.
