When it was first announced that the upcoming Crysis Remastered would be getting raytracing on Xbox One X, there was plenty of confusion and even a bit of skepticism... can the console really handle that?!
But here it is, in all it's glory. You can check out the footage in the video above, which showcases the game's software-driven raytracing features leading to some seriously awesome reflections, albeit at a dynamic 1080p resolution due to the GPU-intensive nature of implementing the tech on the system.
Eurogamer has also gone into more details about how raytracing works in the game if you want further info, and you'll be able to get your own hands on Crysis Remastered when it launches next week on September 18th.

Will they release a Series version?
When I get this I’ll be playing through in 4K mode, I’ll be switching to ray tracing mode now and again as I’m playing through the game but it seems we can only see it better when it’s night time, like on the carrier deck, but can’t seem to see it much at all during the day-time.
I saw this, and I'm impressed, I just hope it is like this on release, part of me is worried it won't be thanks to it being a Dev version. But I hope it will. And I also hope they rbing in the damn flying mission, I hated how that mission was scraped on Switch.
@CRAZYGREG0511 Why was it scrapped on Switch?
@BlueOcean Apparently that flying mission was too much to be handled, not even the 360 and PS3 ports back in the day had it, I'm guessing it was the fact that there was too much happening, while you flew and the battles on the ground surface. Despite my powerful PC, there are times that level does have framerate issues.
@CRAZYGREG0511 Thanks. I think that they will release a Series version because they have released this remaster at the end of this generation.
