Rocket League Goes Free-To-Play, Season One Now Live On Xbox

If you've been eagerly awaiting your chance to play Rocket League, the time has arrived! The "soccar" sports game is now free-to-play on Xbox One, although keep in mind you'll still need Xbox Live Gold to play online.

Its first free-to-play season brings a whole wave of changes to the game, including brand-new tournaments, improved and expanded challenges, alterations to Achievements and much more.

Additionally, Fortnite fans will be able to take part in a "Llama-Rama" crossover event beginning September 26th, allowing players to complete special challenges to unlock rewards for both Rocket League and Fortnite.
