The good news keeps on rolling today! Microsoft has unveiled its brand-new Xbox app for Android phones and tablets, now available to download in Beta form on the Google Play Store.
The app introduces a ton of new and improved features, including streamlined notifications for parties, chats, new friends and more, party chat on the go, the ability to share screenshots and clips from your phone to social media and via messages, profile highlights with a mobile-first experience, and more.
In addition, the app will allow you to set up your new Xbox Series S and/or Xbox Series X when you get it later this year to "save valuable time and get you ready to play faster than ever before," and it also unlocks remote play for all users beginning today, allowing you to connect to your console and play Xbox One games already downloaded to your console (including Xbox Game Pass titles) on your phone or tablet.
Have you downloaded the new app yet? Liking it? Let us know in the comments below.

This is one of the most anticipated features for me, I hope someday we get the iOS support as well.
@Medic_Alert 95% sure it’s going to shown sometime around VGA. Either that or Hellblade 2.
These announcements are why I'm all for the big green X ! It's been a really great year for the fans (and Xbox players, lol)
(I'll get a ps5 and a few exclusive games but no PSN)
I already posted this in another area but does this replace the current game pass app I'm using?
This is fantastic. Hopefully more fluent than the streaming variant. Let's try it out!
@VisitingComet1 No, it's separate to the Game Pass app.
Thanks for the answer
@VisitingComet1 No worries!
Remote play works surprisingly well for it being in beta. Definitely still has bugs to work out but this is exactly what ive been wanting from them!
