"Pre-install on Xbox One now". No way.
Tried it last weekend. Canceled preorder the game was not fun to me.
Tried the beta. The bridge scene was fun. Iron man controls were dodgy for me. But after getting more into it. I felt less bothered about playing further. Kept finding it difficult to get into the game. Def a no buy from me, but I’ll maybe take another look at it later in a year or so.
This game will not be making it’s way onto my Xbox.
"Get A Taste Of Marvel's Avengers With The Open Beta This Weekend"
Aka "Get A Taste Of Marvel's Avengers Without Spider-Man This Weekend"...
@KelticDevil because its a rubbish game? Or because Sony have spiderman?
Let's just forget spiderman is playstation exclusive for a minute, played the beta last weekend and it's nothing special anyway but to bash the game because of one missing character is a bit OTT....
@KelticDevil Yes let them know, protest with wallets like a sensible consumer. The same hypocrites who probably gave death threats during Rise Of Tomb Raider, you would find them giving excuses here.
@Z3u5000
Exactly. And the game just looks like generic rubbish. I just watched the RDX podcast & Dealer had gameplay of the game streaming in the background & it looked extremely mediocre. The guys on the podcast were saying the same thing.
No Spiderman, screw them!
This just isn’t my style of game. Plus my favorite Avenger (Hawkeye) won’t be there til later anyway. Maybe it will get much better when he get added in.
@playstation_king Dude, your name obviously tells why you don't care much about it being exclusive. Not everyone on a Xbox site is going to have both consoles. Spiderman being exclusive is a dick move and expecting Xbox/PC players to pay the same price for less content is dumb and deserves to be called out for.
Can see xbox fans review bombing this for the spiderman situation, I'd say atleast try the beta before bashing the game especially for its gameplay and not the spiderman situation (even if it is a ***** move)
After only 5 minutes of playing I knew I would not be buying this game. Horrible frame rates, horrible cameras, horrible audio sync. Just another mind numbing button masher. We should have all been paid for playing the beta
Should of just made it a single player story driven game, I have lost all interest in this game.
Add me to the club of cancelled preorders. Played it a bit last weekend. Wasn’t compelled to play it again at all yet this weekend which means it’s not a game I should buy.
Plus, I hate companies making exclusive MATERIAL content. Skins and the like I don’t care, but making the most popular character exclusive? It’s like ok, we accept Sony’s money for exclusivity but we still want to get money from Xbox and PC users so let’s give them an inferior version of the game. Pffff if you want to make an exclusive game then have the guys to do it right and forfeit the revenue from the other platforms
