It looks like very early gameplay footage of the next entry in the Need for Speed series has leaked online, as shared (but not sourced) by popular YouTuber BlackPanthaa in the video above.
The build of the game is apparently taken from May or June of this year, although it looks to be extremely early in development - placeholder assets are scattered everywhere, with buildings being represented by coloured blocks.
EA has already confirmed that former Need for Speed and Burnout developer Criterion Games is working on the next Need for Speed, and it's rumoured that a remaster of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is also in the pipeline.

Honestly doesn’t look nearly as good and fun as FH4.
Really impossible to get a good feel for it with such an early build but I guess it looks ok. Cant wait to see NFS on the new boxes!
I enjoyed Need for speed heat i thought it was a good game..
The only thing I got from that video was that the Nissan at the beginning is running on Toyo Proxes Tyres, I will be interested to see what this will look like close to finished.
