CD Projekt Red held its first Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire stream earlier today, featuring fresh new gameplay, a chat with developers and a brand-new story trailer.

You can watch the profanity-laden trailer above, which provides a two-minute look at the world, characters, story, and action of Cyberpunk 2077 - but just the prologue. There's a Keanu spotting too, and it's all set to the backdrop of underrated Muse gem Hyper Music. In other words, we think it's pretty cool!

And when you're done with that, you can also check out six minutes of straight gameplay footage below (courtesy of IGN), centred around the game's Braindance feature. This will allow you to access memories of NPCs in first or third-person modes, and it looks to provide plenty of freedom in doing so.

It was also revealed during the Night City Wire stream that an original anime series called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be coming to Netflix in 2022. It will tell a standalone, ten-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future.
