@NEStalgia Better get your wallet ready...
@ThanosReXXX Hey, that's......I mean you're just.....this is......
59.96, 59.97, 59.98, 59.99.....whew.....
I guess the commuter rail simulators will be a whole new game this time around. Stop at the station, pick up one person, blow through the next 3 stations....let off the one person.....COMPLETE!
But yeah, this is a great simulator series. I'm a little disgruntled because the first one didn't get a ton of the DLC content that PC did, and for this series DLC content adds up to very expensive, but adds entire new railroads ("maps"), controllable units, scenarios, etc. The base package is more like a key to be able to buy all the content separately, almost MMO-like in sales model. And it was REALLY buggy for a long time. One of the Amtrak scenarios I sat there for like an hour at the station and it never signaled clear. If you went it would fail you, if you stayed it stayed red. I had to restart the scenario. That kind of thing happened numerous times where something in the scenario logic would break and never update requiring a total restart. Some locomatives would stall and not restart for no apparent reason (even if you'd totally cold start it.) In that Amtrak scenario I learned that if you don't leave the starting station at the right moment and hit everything in the exact sequence you get stuck at that middle signal. I hope they do better with this release.
But it's just. So. Good. When it does work, that I can't resist funneling them money again. But we never even got the CSX Long Haul package PC got.....the CSX featured in the NA rails pack was pretty bare bones.
@NEStalgia Well, there's only one way to find out if they did better, this time around, or not. Come on... you know you want to...
