Yesterday, we reported that Marvel's Avengers would be launching for Xbox Series X this holiday season, with Xbox One players also receiving a free upgrade to the next-gen version. And now, Microsoft has confirmed this upgrade will be offered via its Smart Delivery service.
This means you'll also be able to carry all progress back-and-forth between the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions, with the latter set to benefit from extremely fast load times, boosted resolution and fidelity, improved texturing and armor destruction, ray tracing, and more. Crossplay between the two versions will be supported as well.
More news on Marvel's Avengers will be revealed later today during its "War Table" livestream, including new trailers, co-op gameplay and story missions. It takes place at 10am PDT / 5pm BST over on YouTube.

Yes, Smart Delivery is awesome, but I'm very surprised at how uninteresting this game looks. Something feels odd about it.
