Original story (Fri 19th Jun, 2020 16:25 BST): Fancy trying out the closed alpha for upcoming Xbox One multiplayer shooter Rogue Company this weekend? Its latest alpha begins today, and SteelSeries is giving away a bunch of codes.

To grab yours, head to the SteelSeries website and sign in/become a member to claim your Xbox One key. You'll then need to follow these instructions to redeem the code:

  1. Sign in to your Xbox One (make sure you’re signed in with the Microsoft account you want to redeem the code with).
  2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select "Home".
  3. Select "Store" and select "Use a Code"
  4. Enter the 25-character code, then follow the prompts. Don’t worry about hyphens, the system takes care of those for you.

The servers for the alpha go live later today at 10am PDT / 6pm BST, and you can claim your key until June 26. However, codes are first come, first serve, and note that playing in the closed alpha will put you under an NDA, so you won't be allowed to share stream, recordings, or impressions of your closed alpha gameplay.

Rogue Company is a team-based multiplayer shooter packed with action, tactics, and attitude. With an arsenal of playable Rogues, guns, abilities, and game modes, there is always something to master.
