EA Sports officially revealed FIFA 21 for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X earlier this week as part of EA Play Live 2020. While the company didn't go into too much detail regarding the next-gen version, it did reveal some interesting titbits, including that the game will feature "blazing fast load times."
"Faster load times get you in the game quicker than ever. Never lose focus as stadium environments will load with unprecedented speed, letting you get to the kick-off in seconds."
FIFA 21 for next-gen will also feature authentic new environments "unlocked by a new deferred lighting system," reimagined player bodies and spatialised audio. Additionally, new contextual player, bench, and fan reactions will "let you feel the explosive passion of a last-minute winner."
FIFA 21 releases for Xbox One on October 9, with the Xbox Series X version yet to receive a date. Those who purchase the current-gen version will be able to claim a free Series X upgrade until the release of FIFA 22.

I love how Ponies got everyone thinking that they are the only ones with an SSD drive. 🙄
Yea....XSX has one too & way more power. 😁
It can load as quick as it wants, all I want is an actual season to come back as it was instead of this volta football stuff
Loading times haven't been long enough for me to care since the days of PS1. So will next gen be faster? Sure. Does it really matter to me?
Nope. I'm not so impatient that I can't wait 5-10 seconds here and there. I usually just sip my drink or whatever.
I've been playing games for nearly 25 years. Each gen we get better graphics and faster loading. At this point it just doesn't impress me. It's just a given or expected.
What I do like about XboxX over PS5 is the backwards compatibility. The ability to play all those old games on the latest system is fantastic!
