Sony has finally revealed the PlayStation 5. As you've likely already seen, a lot of the same third-party games announced for this system are coming to the Xbox Series X. So how impressive will they be on Microsoft's next-generation video game hardware?
GM of Xbox Game Marketing, Aaron Greenberg, took the opportunity to remind fans that these titles will "look and play great" on the world's "most powerful" console while congratulating Sony on its show.
Here's his full tweet:
Congrats to our friends at Sony on their show today. Xbox fans should know titles like GTA V, Resident Evil Village, Hitman 3, NBA 2K21, Pragmata, etc are going to look and play great on #XboxSeriesX the world's most powerful console. #PowerYourDreams #XGonGiveItToYa
Admittedly, we can't help but chuckle at what seems to be a bit of a backhanded compliment from Mr. Greenberg. Expect to find out more about the Xbox Series X and its games line-up at the 20/20 digital showcase next month.

They need to update their YouTube faster! Only Pragmata and Hitman got trailers also uploaded to XBox’s channel. For a minute I worried many of those third party games might actually be on either permanent or timed exclusivity deals.
This cracks me up. Way to go to Greenberg for doing this. 😂
I mean yeah, he nailed it on the head haha. I'll get a PS5 eventually, but the two most exciting games during that event were RE8 and Hitman 3... And I need Halo Infinite in my life.
Well, he watched the same show we did. And he probably fell asleep in the horrendous middle of the show, just like we did. That was WAY worse than anything at the Xbox May event.
But, after he woke up, then he did see some good looking 3rd party stuff, so he has Xbox’s back just to make sure the Ponies don’t make it seem like that stuff was PS5 exclusive.
He did his job. 👍🏻
I should've known Pragmata was coming to Series X. That was one of the better looking games of the presentation. I can't wait to play it.
@PretendWorking
The 12 year old troll is back! Nice!
Let me give you some advice..... go download a picture of an SSD & have some quality “alone time”. I’m sure you’ll feel better.
Also.....wasn’t Microsoft ripped for not showing gameplay in their May (Not E3) event? And how much gameplay did Sony show (even though they had an extra month)? Yea.....not much.
So Sony showed off 3rd party games, including a mind numbingly boring indie middle (which was way worse than Xbox), & some first party titles......
Spider-Man - looks like a side story/DLC. Oh and no gameplay.
Ratchet & Clank - It was R&C. The same thing we’ve seen the other 384 R&C games, which a several of them have been crap.
Gran Turismo - How many sequels we up to now? I thought Microsoft made too many sequels?
Horizon 2 - CGI trailer, no gameplay.....oh and no release date. Oh ANOTHER sequel.
And that was their “E3” type presentation?!! 😂
Oh and their console looks like someone got high & looked at a router they owned 10 years ago & designed a console based on it.
And that GTA V commercial at the beginning was awesome! 👍🏻 Godfall looks like fantastic 3rd party exclusive. 🙄 I could go on.......lol.
@IronMan30
Yea that was one of the coolest games of the show for me. Along with Resident Evil VIII. Both coming to Xbox. 👍🏻
I love how humble and down to earth Xbox has been. It's almost like they look outside of themselves and are not all about the money
They should market the Series X as "world's most powerful" console and also include Game Pass, because I feel like that is the best thing they have ever made.
@KelticDevil RE VIII looks like a must have.
@MasterkillerX
I completely agree. Phil Spencer has done an amazing job turning the ship around & I absolutely love what they have been doing.
I'm digging Aaron's lines.
Assassin's Creed and Resident Evil VIII are what has excited me the most this far. If Microsoft can have one or two big games ready for launch (Halo Infinite, Hellblade II or Forza Motorsport 8) that would be awesome but if not at least they have the most powerful console, Game Pass and backwards compatibility.
