Yesterday, the Forza Horizon 4 team sent out a message to a significant number of players allowing them to generously redeem 200 Super Wheelspins in the game. However, it was later acknowledged that the gift was a mistake, and the team has now apologised for any confusion caused as a result.
"Yesterday, we accidentally sent an in-game message gifting Super Wheelspins to every player as they logged in. Earlier today, we stopped sending the erroneous in-game message. We recognize our mistake and apologize to all of our players for any confusion."
Unfortunately, this statement hasn't gone down too well with some fans. On Twitter, commenters highlighted that the game will be unbalanced due certain players not receiving anything at all, while others questioned why the team's original tweet appeared to suggest the 200 Super Wheelspins was intentional.
Some are now calling for the Forza Horizon 4 team to gift the Wheelspins to those who missed out in the interest of fairness, although admittedly we're not sure how simple that would prove. We'll let you know if we hear anything more on this, and if you were lucky enough to get the message - enjoy!

I don't know how exactly these work, but can't they just go in and remove the ones from people's accounts that got it by accident?
I was lucky enough to grab this and I just spammed my way through all 200 spins, I just collected duplicate cars without selling them, I figured I was getting enough of a freebie!
Anyway, it allowed me to get two achievements straight away, one for levelling up and one for clothes (which I was close to anyway).
It’s a shame for those who missed it, but I don’t think it will add that much to my enjoyment really.
