Well this isn't something you see every day! Police Officer Tom Van Der Wee, who shares experiences of his job working for Sussex Police in England, noted yesterday that a non-essential journey to pick up an Xbox led to someone losing their car and being summoned to court.
Why? Well, after stopping the driver and questioning where they were going, the PC slapped them with a Court summons for having no insurance, no MOT and a bald tyre:
If you wondering how someone managed to acquire an Xbox during the coronavirus pandemic, PC Tom Van Der Wee mentioned on Twitter that it "certainly wasn't a new one." Who knows what the story is behind that, but regardless, we're pretty confident it's not worth going to Court and losing your car over.

10/10 would do again.
He deserves a ยฃ60 fine for breaking the lockdown, but I have no sympathy for any driver that doesn't have insurance. I hope that the financial penalty is so crippling he won't dream of trying something like this on again
That is crazy. I hope he enjoys his Xbox because it will be the most expensive Xbox he will ever buy!
