You'll only have played 2018 sci-fi horror game The Persistence if you own a PSVR, but now, developer Firesprite Games has announced a non-VR version is coming to a variety of platforms including Xbox One. It'll be available for £29.99, and is being released on Thursday, May 21st.
The game features procedurally generated stages that change with each playthrough, and is described as "a brutal take on the survival-horror genre that integrates rogue-like design elements to give the action an extra edge." The Xbox One version is said to feature tailored controls, with enhanced environments and post-processing effects.
Here's the key part - if you want to take advantage of a 10% pre-order discount, you'll need to purchase the Xbox One version of the game between April 30th and May 20th. We're not sure if it'll appear on the Microsoft Store before then, but those are the dates that have been quoted.
Will you be trying out The Persistence next month? Let us know if you've played it in the comments below.

I played this at a convention a couple of years ago for PSVR, and it was really fun! It'll be interesting to see how the non-VR version stacks up.
I, too wonder how this is going to work.
It's so cool to get to play this on the big X.
I hope Valve ends up doing this with Half Life: Alyx.
