That's a hell of a good deal, I would buy one for that price if the series x wasn't coming out this year
It's a good deal if you aren't planning on picking up a Series X straight away. Games like Gears 5 and Hellblade look amazing on Xbox One X, and with gamepass you can load up on plenty of stuff to tide you over until next gen
I’d also say that if you are new or don’t have a console yet the One S digital is a cracking deal at £149. Assuming it still comes with a few games (Sea of Thieves, Tekken 7 and Minecraft I think) plus the 4 games a month for signing up to a cheap Gold deal online, meals you wouldn’t need to buy a new game anytime soon. If you signed up to Gamepass as well it’s fantastic value. Yeah, there’s no Blu-ray/dvd playback (as if people haven’t got a player already) and you can’t take advantage of cheap second hand discs but it’s still a decent deal for someone just looking to get a system and games.
I got the 1TB White Xbox One X with 3 months Game Pass Ultimate last month for £259.99 at Game, a bargain!! It was in the half term sale. The prices went up for 2/3 weeks after this to nearer RRP but have just reduced to the deals you see now.
It's a great time to get an X at a good price, they are obviously trying to clear stock at this point before the Series X release.
