Update: (Tue 31st Mar, 2020 15:35 BST): All of this month's titles have now been announced. You can see the full list over at our Xbox Games with Gold April 2020 roundup.
Original Story: (Tue 31st Mar, 2020 09:30 BST): Microsoft has waited a very long time to announce April 2020's Xbox Games with Gold - we're now at the final day of March, and still no official announcement has surfaced. Thanks to some eagle-eyed Xbox fans over at Reddit, however, we're now aware of the first two games available with GwG in April.
The first is Project CARS 2 for Xbox One, which released back in September 2017 and is still considered one of the best racing games on the platform. Here's what the game's description says about it:
Project CARS 2 is the thrill of intense racing action in beautiful cars at stunning venues. Authentic and intuitive handling, truly dynamic weather, and a wealth of game modes delivers racing fun for everyone.
The first Xbox 360 game included with April's selection is the superb Fable Anniversary, (great timing considering our massive 'making-of' feature released yesterday!) which, as always, is backwards compatible on Xbox One. It's a 2014 remaster of the original Fable, and is described as follows:
Fable Anniversary is a spectacular HD remaster of the original Fable with all-new models, textures, lighting, achievements, The Lost Chapters content, and more!

Fable Anniversary left an impression on me and it's one of the best games that I've ever played. Map the buttons if you can though, the setup is unnatural.
The music and visuals are wonderful, the battle system is deeper than I thought and the game itself gives you a lot of choices while still being coherent and somewhat linear.
Fable is such a great inclusion! Really nice to hear it.
I've never played PC 2. Maybe this is the time to try it
PC2 is a solid racing game. Not quite GT or Forza tier but a good title nonetheless. Hope you all enjoy!
