The coronavirus continues to have a major impact on the world, but one of the strangest things we've seen is the lack of toilet paper lining our stores. With people panic buying loo rolls in their droves, there just hasn't been enough to go around. And bizarrely, State of Decay predicted it all the way back in 2013.
A user called ZurvivorLDG noted this on the Reddit gaming page, sharing a screenshot from State of Decay in which a character called Christopher incredibly questions why people would panic-buy toilet paper. He says it "weirds me out" that it all disappeared in the first few days of the zombie outbreak, and questions why anyone would be turning their attention to toilet paper in the middle of a crisis.
You can see the screenshot in the image below:
So there you have it -- perhaps all this panic buying of toilet paper isn't quite so surprising after all. Have you noticed Christopher talking about this in State of Decay? Let us know your thoughts and tell us some other real-life incidents that games have correctly predicted in the comments.

A very amusing coincidence to be sure, but like Christopher, I too don't understand this toilet paper hoarding. I mean, for how long do people expect to stay inside their homes?
