Elder Scrolls Online Developer 'Exploring' Bringing The Game To Xbox Series X

The developer behind The Elder Scrolls Online has commented on the potential of both an Xbox Series X and PS5 version of the game. Speaking to Trusted Reviews, Creative Director at Zenimax Online Studios Rich Lambert suggested the company just was beginning to look into the possibility:

"We’re just now kind of digging into that. The specs were only released a couple of weeks ago but we have definitely heard the fans, yes, you know? They’re saying ‘We want this! We want this on there [on next-gen consoles].’ So we’re exploring what that means and when and if we could do that."

In other Elder Scrolls Online news, Lambert also suggested to Forbes last week that the game is "still growing, not slowing down", reportedly now boasting over 15 million subscribers. The developer is still producing quarterly DLC for the game, and "remains committed" to doing so.

It certainly appears, then, that the The Elder Scrolls Online could be released for Xbox Series X eventually given its continued popularity, but for now, we'll have to wait a little longer for confirmation. Do you want to see The Elder Scrolls Online on Xbox Series X? Let us know in the comments.
